Our Founder and Overseer - Apostle John Bush
Meet Apostle John Bush, BOC’s extraordinary shepherd and overseer who has dedicated his entire life to serving God and his community. His enduring marriage of over 50 years to his wife, First Lady and overseer, Gloria Bush, is a testament to his commitment to family and the values he upholds. Their partnership and shared vision have undoubtedly strengthened their ministry and provided a solid foundation for their leadership.
Throughout his extensive ministry leadership, which spans for nearly half a century, Apostle John Bush has exemplified profound integrity and unwavering evangelical principles. He has been a beacon of light, guiding and inspiring countless individuals through his powerful preaching of the Bible. His messages are not only rooted in scripture but also resonate deeply with people, touching their hearts and souls.
One of his greatest strengths is his gift as a mentor. He has nurtured spiritual growth within the community, walking alongside individuals as they deepen their relationship with God. His guidance and wisdom have helped many overcome challenges, find purpose, and discover their unique calling in life. Lead Pastor - Jonas Bush
Our lead Pastor, Jonas Bush, also known as “Pastor Jay ” is a remarkable embodiment of both physical and spiritual wellness. As a skilled fitness coach, he has helped to transform numerous lives by promoting healthy lifestyle choices, exercise, and a holistic approach to well-being. Pastor J's prophetic insight is truly exceptional, enabling him to address not only the needs of our local church but also to provide guidance and wisdom that resonates globally within the body of Christ, transcending borders and cultures.
Pastor J recognizes that physical fitness goes beyond mere physicality. He understands that a strong and healthy body serves as a vessel to glorify God and carry out His work. With unwavering commitment and dedication, he exemplifies the importance of nurturing both our physical and spiritual aspects.
In addition to his role as a pastor, Jonas is also a loving father of three and the husband of Associate Pastor Daphine Bush. His commitment to his family serves as a testament to his character and his ability to balance multiple responsibilities with grace and wisdom.

Pastor - Daphine Bush
Meet Associate Pastor Daphine Bush, wife of Senior Pastor Jonas Bush, is loving a mother of three published faith and lifestyle blogger, gospel recording artist, and speaker.
With a deep love for people, she serves as a mentor and pastor, offering wisdom, encouragement, and practical guidance. Daph is known in her circle for always sharing the godly perspective on life! Daphine's compassionate and empathetic approach helps individuals navigate challenges and discover their purpose in God. Her passion for leading the people of God into worship through song, creative writing, and sharing the goodness of God adds a unique dimension to her ministry, inspiring and uplifting others. With her Southern roots deeply ingrained, she possesses a genuine penchant for extending warm hospitality and showering others with love. Her heart overflows with joy when she opens her home for delightful fellowships, creating an inviting space where relationships flourish through engaging and meaningful events.
As an associate pastor, she brings a nurturing spirit and genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives, and we are grateful to have her in our community.
SEASONED PASTORS FORUM- Minister Morris Madison
The BOC Seasoned Pastor’s Forum is a dynamic ministry that provides a platform for esteemed spiritual leaders to impart nuggets of inspiration to the body of believers. With a passion to see every individual flourish in the body of Christ, Apostle John Bush envisioned this ministry as a space where seasoned pioneers could share their wisdom, insights on scripture, and divine revelations gained through years of faithful service. It serves as a conduit for these spiritual generals to pour out the treasures God has bestowed upon them, equipping and encouraging others on their spiritual journeys. The BOC Seasoned Pastors Forum is a testament to the commitment of empowering the body of Christ and fostering a culture of continual growth and revelation in the pursuit of God’s purpose. Some of our esteemed members are Pastor Ken Smith Sr. of New Direction Worship Center in Bryan Texas, Pastor Chris Archie, and Pastor Morris Madison.
