The Body of Christ Ministry was born of necessity, driven by a profound burden on the heart of overseer Bishop John Bush. Bishop Bush recognized a pressing need for unity among churches and a deep desire to see the Word of God preached in its fullness—without compromise, dilution, or distortion.
Too often, the Word of God was being preached out of context, leaving believers without the clarity and foundation necessary to grow in Christ.
At BOC Houston, our mission is to reveal Christ by faithfully teaching the truth of God’s Word and leading people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus. We are committed to creating a Christ-centered community where people can worship, grow in faith, discover their God-given purpose, and experience genuine love and belonging. Through biblical teaching, prayer, worship, fellowship, and service, we equip believers to live out their faith and use their gifts to serve others.
We believe we are called to love God, love people, and make disciples who make disciples. Our desire is to help every person take their next step with Jesus and become a faithful reflection of His truth, grace, and love in their families, communities, and the world.
Our vision is to see a united and growing body of believers who are deeply rooted in Scripture, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and committed to following Jesus in every area of life. We envision BOC Houston as a welcoming church where people encounter God, build meaningful relationships, discover their purpose, and are equipped to grow spiritually and serve faithfully.
We desire to raise up disciples and leaders strengthen families, serve their communities, and carry the Gospel beyond the walls of the church. Through Christ-centered worship, biblical truth, authentic community, and intentional discipleship, we seek to impact generations and reveal the transforming love of Jesus to the world.
